The name Pehal was christened by our director Mrs. Rutvi Vyas. This is an initiative taken by the best preschool in ahmedabad Vedant International Preschool for making the world bright & better. The idea behind it was sprouted by the inability to see , meet and engage with our kids due to pandemic. As educators we felt that it is our responsibility to reach out to the little kids who feel worried and anxious at the moment as are all cocooned in their homes because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The effect of this pandemic on children is often overlooked. This trying situation had strangled us and disabled us to perform our responsibility. Pehal has been by far the most significant initiative of best nursery pre school for kids Vedant International Preschool to dissolve the effects of this trying pandemic times. The impact was so penetrating that is was a responsible endeavor conducted by Vedant international Preschool to bring smiles back on our children’s face.
The positive aspect of pandemic was it brought families together and made dads cook and do household chores ! Jokes apart it made people more compassionate and hold out to each other and be with each other and give the best fight to the demon.
‘Pehal’ –The plantation drive was weaved with activities like drawing, colouring, dance, interactive games and the most favourite – “the storytelling sessions.” This made us render our responsibility towards our “Bachpan” which was being strangled by the effects of deadly virus. It made us bring back smile and spark in the children. The sight of their joy and happiness was an encouraging impetus for our hardworking teachers. It was to remind ourselves that in prioritizing our careers we had hurt our mother nature so now was the time to give back our love with the plantation drive we had intergrated with drawing and colouring activities and story time. Stories are the best interactive tools. The faces of the kids we came across after such a long time were now happy and reflecting joy.
‘Pehal’ is not confined to this. We have multitasking goals. With this Vedant International Preschool team is also getting across to help parents and other adults to find ways to support children through age-appropriate information, understanding and reassurance during pandemics with the help of Pediatric Nutritionist. This also help the adults to support their Children deal with stress from a Pandemic.
This was a first event of its kind. Samprat Residency at Shilaj was so inviting and welcoming for us. It ushered smiles on faces of grandparents and parents who were delightfully participating with the children. The happiest part was the see the grandparents singing songs and participating in the event.
After the success of the first event our team was more determined to move forward & work harder towards achieving the success of ‘Pehal’ and reach out the children in different areas of Ahmedabad. With double the spur, we reached out with the event at Sanidhya Bungalows in Ghuma Area and Parishkar-2 at Maninagar . And we are now looking forward for the next event at Navratna Apartments in Sattadhar and also at parishkar-1 in Maninagar .
Pehal- a reach out to our children the role played by our teachers and support staff was incredibly admirable. The kids were flocking to event the teachers who were not known to them with such joy.
All the required measures of social distancing & health & hygiene are being taken care of during this program.
